My Artist Statement

I am proud to be self-taught.

My work is not seeking truth

which to me is like

being lost in a labyrinth of someone else's design.

I always strive to be honest with myself and my work.

My art is attached to my spirituality,

and when I find

I am being honest with myself

it gives me wings to fly above the labyrinth.

I try to be a free thinker in my life and in my art.
